Itinerary:

Located north of Atlanta in Cumming, Georgia, Sawnee Mountain Preserve provides visitors with 963 acres of scenic passive space, hiking trails and an interactive Visitor Center.  Let’s meet at the Spot road location in front of the Visitor center and hike about 11 miles of all trails that this beautiful preserve offers with a brisk pace.  The elevation gain is approximately 1600 ft.

We will start our hike promptly at 10.30 am

Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to check in.

We will do the Indian Seats loop first, and the new loop second.

We will stop for a lunch break after finishing the Church trail.  If you skip the Church trail, I won't be able to give you credit for D4, but I encourage you to join us and test your abilities anyway.

For the safety of the group if I have not hiked with you, I might contact you to make sure that this hike is appropriate for you.
