Itinerary:

Earn 2 yr.CPR-PR certification from the American Red Cross after completion of this event. This will protect you under the Good Samaritans law if you perform CPR

CPR/ First Aid/ AED
Would you know what to do in an emergency? Red Cross first aid and CPR/AED courses will teach and help you remember the valuable, life- saving skills you'll need to respond in an emergency.

Adult, Infant and Child CPR with First Aid
This course trains individuals how to help prevent and recognize the symptoms of sudden illness and injury, and how to provide basic care. The training also gives participants the knowledge and skills to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children until more advanced medical personnel arrive and takes over. This class is perfect for child-care workers, expectant parents, grandparents, and anyone who cares for children and infants.

Bring your lunch and for dinner, we can order pizzas (not included in event price)

  • I-285 West to exit 21 (Northside Drive)
  • At the light turn right onto Northside Drive
  • The first light after you cross the river, turn right onto Powers Ferry Road
  • Continue up Powers Ferry Road until you pass a Shell Gas station on your right, Turn Right onto Terrell Mill Road
  • Turn Left onto Greenwood Trail (4th left turn after traffic light) - White fence
  • Take to stop sign, turn Right on Foxcroft Trail
  • House is on Left (white ranch)

    From Downtown
  • I-75 North to exit 261, Delk Road East
  • Follow Delk road about 1 mile until "T"
  • Turn Left at "T" (Terrell Mill Road)
  • Turn Left onto Greenwood Trail (4th left turn after traffic light) - White fence
  • Take to stop sign, turn Right on Foxcroft Trail
  • House is on Left (white ranch)

    From Canton/Kennesaw
  • I-75 South to exit 261, Delk Road
  • Turn Left at Light

    CPR book will be available for an additional $15.00. The CPR book is NOT included in the cost of the CPR training course.
    DO NOT pay for CPR book through AOC. Please bring monies to class for CPR book.

    Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

         - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

         - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

         - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

         - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

         - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.


    * We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.
