Itinerary:

We're going to go up and check out Low Gap Shelter and the trail for an upcoming backpacking trip, so come out and join us!
We'll start off at Hogpen gap off of GA Route 348 and we'll hike about 4.5 miles to the shelter over rolling terrain. We'll stop at the shelter for a bit and have lunch and relax. Once we are ready, we'll turn around and head back the way we came.
Overall distance for the day will be around 9 miles with the biggest climb being 500 ft of elevation gain over the first mile after we leave Low Gap Shelter.
We'll hope for good weather, but we'll likely go rain or shine.

- Lunch/snack
- at least 1 liter water
- hiking/trail shoes/boots
- rain gear if weather looks scary
