Itinerary:

Join us for a morning hike on Sawnee Mt Preserve. We will meet at the newest location, the Sawnee Mountainside Trail Park at 2505 Bettis-Tribble Gap Road, Cumming, GA 30040. From there we will cross over to Sawnee Mt Preserve (also known as Booger Mt.), travel around the Mt to the visitor center, up the mountain to the Indian Seats, and then down the Mt and back to the Mt preserve.

This hike should not be confused with the popular Sawnee Mt hike that spans both parks, this is half the double park hike.

We'll meet at the playground at the Mountainside Trails park at the playground area.

Event Directions:

From GA-400 North

Take EXIT 17

Turn LEFT onto GA-306 (Keith Bridge rd) West & go 0.5 miles

Turn RIGHT onto State Barn Road & go 0.6 miles

Turn RIGHT onto GA-9 North & go 0.4 miles

Turn LEFT onto Spot Road & go 2.3 miles

Turn LEFT on Bettis-Tribble Gap Road (traffic light) & go 0.9 miles

The parking lot will be on your right - there is also a parking lot on the left - beware - we are at the Mountainside parking lot, not the Sawnee Preserve parking lot
