Tour de Farm is an amazing weekend of bicycles, farms, great people and delicious food. 
 
We are forming a team of 12 AOC members to participate in this event.
 
 Description from their website:
 
Atlanta Tour de Farm Come enjoy urban farms, bikes, local food, chefs dinner, beer and local drinks, music, bonfire, urban camping, good folks and good times with us.
 
What: The 5th Annual Atlanta Tour de Farm hosted by Community Farmers Markets.
 
When: Saturday, October 21st (with optional overnight urban camping and a Sunday trip to the Grant Park Farmers Market)
 
What: The 2017 Tour de Farm is a unique full-day bicycle tour of local SW urban farms, an on-farm dinner, and optional overnight camping at Urban Sprouts Farm. The goal of the tour is to promote sustainable lifestyles through urban agriculture and bicycling in Atlanta all while experiencing the city in a fresh, new way.
 
Who: We'll be visiting farms in SW Atlanta including Urban Sprouts (start and end point), Crack in the Sidewalk, The Browns Mill Food Forest, Mena's Farm, Freewheel Farm, Truly Living Well Collegetown and more! In addition to tours at each site, AgLanta will be hosting a mushroom inoculation class. Participants will get to take home an inoculated log at the end of the tour.
 
Why: Tour de Farm raises awareness of bicycling and local food culture in Atlanta. The 2017 Tour de Farm is a full day cycling adventure of Atlanta SW urban farms and food sites that includes cycling, delicious locally sourced meals, education, urban farm tours, a mushroom inoculation class, and an overnight farm camping option. Proceeds directly benefit the farms.
 
Riders of all levels welcome, but note that it will be a full day ride in the city! All food and drinks will be provided. Please, BYO bike, water bottle, and camping gear. Gear will be carried in the support van.

Bicycle in good working order

Bike Helmet
 
Spare tubes / tools for changing a flat 
 
Water / Hydration for your ride (At least 2 liters recommended)

Overnight Camping Gear (Tent, Sleeping bag, Sleeping pad)

Change of clothes

Fun, positive attitude!

Recommended Items to Bring:
