Itinerary:

Let's enjoy the White, Red, and Yellow trails at the beautiful Sweetwater Creek State Park. This will be a 7 mile hike at a moderate (~2.5 MPH) pace with a few breaks during the hike.

We will start at the vistor's center starting out on the White trail for 2.5 miles where the trail continues beside Sweetwater creek (hiking upstream) for a half mile until we reach the Red trail. The Red trail continues upstream for another mile. It has some rocky terrain, so we will slow a little at this portion of the hike. We press forward onto the Yellow trail, crossing the bridge (over the creek). The Yellow trail loops around and has enough of a climb to get your heart a pumping. After 3 more miles we will be back at our cars.

Note that there is a $5.00 parking fee at the park unless you have a Georgia State Park Pass.
