Come join your fellow hikers to do the Cumberland Trail located in the Prentice Cooper Sate park which is located about a half hour from downtown Chattanooga. The Prentiss Cooper state park is a 24,000 acre State Park located in Marion County and sits atop Suck Mountain. The hike will be about 7 miles in length and is easy to moderate in range. Our goal will be Snoopers Rock Overlook which has a spectacular view of three mountains, one being Raccon Mountain where the club will be caving and the Tennessee River. This is where lunch will be at. After the hike will go into downtown Chattanooga for dinner. The driving time is about 2 hours from Atlanta. This trip is weather pending but the view at the end is well worth the trip. We will try to be back in Atlanta around 8 that evening.
