Itinerary:

Join us for a relaxing climb, geared towards teaching the basics of climbing. Never climbed before?  No worries.  Want to learn how to belay?   Stone Summit has got you covered.  Climbers of all levels are welcome to come.

Cost, not paid to the AOC, is a very low price of $11 per person.  This includes all gear.  The only way to qualify for the $11 is to be signed up for the event.  There will be a name sheet at the front desk.  That will be the list we use for the event so please tell them your name.  Then come find us Mara and Fardis. We will most likely congregate at the tables to the LEFT once you walk in. 

If you have never climbed at Stone Summit, you will have to sign a new waiver. There are touch-screen kiosks when you walk in.  Simply register yourself at the kiosks; it take about 5 minutes to complete.

The event will last approximately 2 hours, but you can stay longer or leave whenever you wish.  If you prefer to bring a buddy and do technical lead-climbing on your own, no problem just find me and let me know you've checked in please. Or if you're into bouldering and want to do just that, have at it!!

It's very busy in the eveningZAs so there is some waiting involved...but you'll get some good climbs in.


Required Items to Bring:

Wear clothes geared towards working out.  No baggy shirts or baggy pants that can snag on things. Some people wear shorts but you might scuff your knees if you're new to climbing.  

Your own climbing shoes / harness (if you have them)

Stone Summit will provide climbing shoes and a harness (they will hold your driver's license until you return the equipment).  This is included in the $11 price.

Our Director of Events approved 20 people for our rock climbing event. So happy to see that we have new members with the club attending rock climbing as their first event.
