| Itinerary: | |||||||
Iron Hill Trail has lots of water views of Lake Allatoona - very flat trail, couple little bumps but nothing that I would consider a hill - we will begin our hike from the Visitor Center at Red Top Mountain State Park - cross the road and take the Campground Trail over to the Iron Hill Trail - and then do two loops on the Iron Hill - entire hike should be approx. 8 miles. Great for hikers that don't like hills (me) but want to get in some mileage. Not a super fast hike, not leisurely, somewhere in between. $5 entrance fee to GA State Park or display your annual pass in vehilce. Restrooms are available at the visitor's center

| How to Get There: | |||||||
| Event Directions: | Meet at the Visitor Center Red Top Mountain - From Atlanta, take I-75 Northbound to exit #285. Go right (east) on Red Top Mountain Road SE and cross Lake Allatoona. Go about a mile and the visitor center will be on your left | ||||||

Georgia State Parks require a parking pass. You can buy a daily pass ($5.00) or annual pass at the park office, where we will start the hike.
