Itinerary:

Please join our hiking trip at Amicalola Falls including the Hike Inn Loop trail and a climb up the stairs to the falls.

The hike is over 12 miles with approx. 3,200 feet elevation gain at a fast pace. We will have a few short breaks for water and photos. We'll start from the Visitors Center and take the Appalachian Approach Trail to the base of the falls, then climb up stairs to the top of the falls. There are many beautiful views along this climb. At the top of the falls, we'll follow the AT Approach Trail and Hike Inn Connecting Trail to Len Foote Hike Inn for our lunch break. We'll then follow Hike Inn trail and East Ridge Trail to get back to our cars.

There may be, no guarantee though, some left over foods and drinks like cookies, cakes, fruits, coffee, lemonade, etc. in Hike Inn dining room, please leave some tips in their box if you do eat or drink them.

The event duration does NOT include our carpool driving time. If you choose to meet at the event, please arrive 15 minutes before our starting time. Our duration time is an estimate, so allow extra time just in case.

This is a D5 level hike. Please only register if you are comfortable with a fast pace, and have recent D5 experience. If your experience is not from the club, please include it in a note when you register. TL(s) reserves the right to remove registrants without sufficient track record for the safety of everyone. We encourage our members to actively participate with joyful experience, and most importantly to stay healthy and safe at the end of each event!
