Itinerary:

Note that 1) You must register/pay at event web site HERE IN ADDITION to registering for the AOC event.  It is recommended that you register prior to the event (price increase after April 21) 2) We'll ride as a group for at least the 1st 12 miles, where the 32 & 57 mile routes separate from the 60 & 100 routes.  You may also start independently if you prefer (please let me know when registering if this is the case)

Come ride with us for the 28th Annual Up the Creek Without a Pedal Ride in Rome, GA.  This ride features the  scenic valleys of NW Georgia, with very little climbing and great support.  This is another great ride to build your endurance while the weather is ideal for riding

Registration opens at 6:30am on ride day.  We will meet in front of registration (in front of the Forum building) at 7:30 (See GPS above), where we can discuss who's riding which course (see distances below).  The ride begins as a mass start (about 500 riders) at 8:00. No one is required to ride as a group. There will be different paces for different folks.

The route has only 700 ft of climbing for the 32 mi course and 1,200 ft for the 53 mi course, which are considered flat courses.  Support throughout the ride is abundant with support vehicles and frequent, well stocked rest stops about every 15 miles. The ride supports TRED Rome/Floyd, a non-profit in NW Georgia that supports cycling advocacy.  Ride will go on, rain or shine.

Money is not collected by the AOC and there are no refunds

All riders must register here.  Ride distances are 32, 53, 71 and 104 miles.  Cost is $35 by April 21 ($10 extra for T- shirt), increasing after that date to $55.  Registration opens day of ride at 6:30.  Ride starts at 8:00
