EASY (Primitive car camping)

COME JOIN US FOR CAMPING IN THE BEAUTIFUL NATIONAL FOREST FOR EASTER WEEKEND!!!!

This will be a fun primitive camping experience in a beautiful secluded spot in the National Forest. You can drive to drive to the campsite.

This is a great opportunity to get to know some new people and experience the beautiful North Georgia Mountains in Spring. Our favorite site has a creek running through it, and plenty of space for everyone to put up a tent. You’ll go to sleep with the sound of the rushing water and wake up to the sound of bird calls in the morning…

We’ll arrive Friday night, gather firewood and set up our campsite, then enjoy a simple camp meal of hotdogs and hamburgers. As night falls, we can sit around the campfire making s’mores, singing bawdy songs, and telling stories ‘till late into the night. Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments…

Saturday’s adventures are up to you…after a hearty breakfast, groups can split off to do whatever they please. There are trails in the neighboring state park to a beautiful waterfall, and bike trails and hiking trails in the local area. There are also a few fun roads for a little SUV action….and I’ve seen ORV’s in the area as well.

Saturday night we’ll cook a great campfire meal…best you’ve ever had!

Sunday, there will be people at the camp until mid-day, so plan to stay as long as you like…

Check out http://www.gastateparks.org/info.asp?id=64&siteid=5 for more info….
