10th ANNUAL GA 400 HOSPITALITY HWY BIKE RIDE

Important Notes: 1) You must register/pay at event web site HERE IN ADDITION to registering for the AOC event.  Money is not collected by the AOC nor the Trip Leader and there are no refunds.  2) We'll meet at the coordinates above,  then ride as a group until at least the 1st rest stop.  You may also start independently if you prefer. 3) Cost is $40 by March 31st, increasing to $50 after 3/31 and $60 on day of ride.  It's recommended that you pay in advance due to the popularity of the ride.   

Come ride with us on Hwy GA 400. All lanes will be closed so we can ride safely. Imagine as you soar down the entrance ramp at Holcomb Bridge and you get the greatest feeling of freedom as you take to the highway by bicycle! Join 2,000 other riders on this memorable ride.  Distances available of 27, 45, 60, or 100 miles throughout the "best roads in North Georgia filled with horse farms and small country roads." The group will be encouraged to ride the maximum distance they're confortable with, with encouragement and support from others. There are rest stops every 15 miles and great entertainment at the end along with a great buffet-style meal.

Registration opens at 5:30am on race day. We'll gather between 6:00 and 6:30 in front of the registration (at the coordinates above).  Look for me with my gray AOC shirt.  Parking is at the Sky Zone  in the Kings Market shopping center (See map below). YOU WILL NEED TO ARRIVE PRIOR TO 6:30 AM TO PARK.  We will  begin the ride at 7:00 am.  After the 1st rest stop, we may seperate based on pace and distance, but I can ensure that those who want to extend their distance receive support they need.  We can discuss your riding goal prior to ride start.

All riders must register at http://ga400century.com/ the price rises as the event date becomes closer.  Register by March 31st for $40.  Price goes up to $50 after that and $60 on race day.

Price includes T-shirt, food, rest stops, full support along the route and entertainment.  Register early and save!!  There are no refunds.  Money is not collected by the AOC nor the Trip Leader and there are no refunds

DISCLAIMER: The Trip Leader(s) for this event has (have) elected either to personally collect the funds that event participants are required to pay, or to require participants to pay funds directly to a third party. No funds will be paid to the Atlanta Outdoor Club for this event. Therefore, by registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following: (1) the monies paid by registrants will not be monitored, managed, or otherwise accounted for by the Atlanta Outdoor Club; (2) that the Atlanta Outdoor Club bears no financial responsibility for this event; and (3) you waive any and all claims against the Atlanta Outdoor Club, and hold the Atlanta Outdoor Club harmless for the loss of any monies you paid for this event.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, any paying registrant may request directly from the Trip Leader, prior to the event, a breakdown of funds collected, estimated expenses, and deposits made in anticipation of the event. Following the event, the Trip Leader must complete his or her financial accounting for the event, with supporting documentation, within 30 days of the completion of the event, and a paid registrant may request a breakdown of funds collected, money spent and supporting documentation after that time. If you are unable to obtain requested documentation, please contact the Director of Paid Events.
