Itinerary:

This is a GREAT hike for beginners who want to try a D2 but are worried that they can't keep up. This hike is 2 hours but has relatively no elevation. It will help you with doing a longer hike in distance & time. Come join me for a fun evening hiking along the Chattahoochee River!! We will hike the asphalt trail at a moderate pace but slow down on the boardwalk to discover all the secrets in the wetlands.

Please arrive by 6:00 pm to find a parking place & for use of restroom facilities, socializing and introductions. Out of respect for the majority of people who arrive on time, we will leave PROMPTLY at 6:15 pm. We will meet in front of the restroom facilities.

We will walk the trails beside the Chattahoochee River. Most of the trails are asphalt but if the dirt trails are realatively dry we will also hike them. The variety of trails offered on the Riverwalk are wonderful. We also hike down the boardwalk thru the wetlands viewing all the wildlife.
