National Trails Day is Saturday June 2nd, 2018!!

Yay!! NTD!! I love National Trails Day!! Once again, I'm gathering a group of AOC'ers to join forces with REI's National Trails Day Event. National Trails Day (NTD) is an annual event held every year on the first Saturday of June. It's a celebration of our wonderful trail systems and good opportunity to give back to our trails. PLEASE NOTE:
If you register for this event on the AOC website, YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE OFFICIAL REI EVENT!!!

Once you register for the REI project, you will need to print and sign the REI waiver. They will give you a link to the PDF. Read, sign, and bring this with you the day of the event.

REI will be providing food, drinks, and a great day of volunteering!

REI will also be giving a FREE T-shirt for our volunteer efforts, but you must register with REI using the above link.

Required Items to Bring:

Volunteers should plan to bring work gloves and wear long pants as well as closed toed shoes.

Bring a small backpack or waist pack so you can carry some water and snacks with you. Hydration is super important!

Recommended Items to Bring:

Bug spray

Any participant with bee sting allergies should bring their Epipen.
