Itinerary:

We will be hiking on the Appalachian Trail southbound from Dicks Creek Gap to Kelly Knob. There is a beautiful view and nice place for a break. Those who want to climb one of the GA-4000 series (https://georgia-atclub.org/georgia-4000/georgia-4000-foot-peaks) Double Spring Knob can do a 0.2 mile bushwhack up. On the way back, we will take a side trail to a viewpoint for a second break and a view onto Lake Burton.

Dicks Creek Gap Parking Lot is on the right off Rte 76 about 16 miles from Clayton
