Itinerary:

This loop first follows the shores of the Chattahoochee River and then climbs the cliffs above it, offering a spectacular view of the rapids below.

Good hiking shoes and plenty of water.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From downtown Atlanta drive north on I 75 to Exit 256. At the bottom of the ramp take a right on Mt. Paran. After about 0.2 miles take a left onto Sentinel Post. Proceed 0.4 miles on Sentinel Post and turn right onto Whitewater Creek. After a further 0.4 miles you will see the park entrance on your left. Proceed to the trail parking at the end of the road.

Sunset is at 8:42 PM and twilight ends at 9:11 PM.
