Itinerary:

We will hike mid morning to beat the heat and avoid the rain.  There is an optional lunch after the hike.

We will try Lazaros Cuban Restaurant in Roswell again. It has been open since 2012 and is well known for excellant cuban food.  Last time the food was great and they had a generous pour.

The hike will start at the free parking lot at the Roswell Mill. There are restrooms at this location.  We will cross the covered bridge and hike along the creek for a view of the dam and then head up through the trails to the bridge at Oxbo Road.  This will give us a variety of hills with a good bit of elevation gain to get in a good workout.  The pace will be moderate with a few stops along the way.

Optional Lunch following the hike is nearby in Roswell at lazaros Cuban Restaurant.

How to Get There:

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free.  It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. Head away from hwy 120 and kKeep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.  For a zoomable map or satellite view of that spot click the rectangular blue and green "event location" icon near the top of this article.
