This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

Pace:  uphill pace will be around 2.0 and downhill pace around 3.0.  Average overall pace will be 2.3 to 2.5.

Elevation gain:  approximately 2100 feet

We will see some waterfalls.  Cross some rocky areas.  Enjoy the solitude of nature.

After the hike we will be going to Chatsworth for tacos and beverages.  Don't plan on being home in time for dinner.

Hey, if you've not completed a recent D4 or higher, please send the trip leaders information on your recent hiking experiences (trail name, distance, date, pace), this will enable us to ensure group safety.  If I don't get an email from you, I will move you to the waitlist.
