Itinerary:
Its paintball time!! Once again we have the field to ourselves for the day. We will meet at the carpool at 8AM and leave no later than 8:15AM. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to Nitro Paintball. Once we get there we’ll get our gear (they provide everything), have a safety talk, and start playing! They have several fields to choose from and the staff will mix things up to keep the day interesting with different fields and different scenarios. The fields are wooded, except for the speedball course, so wear old dark clothes or camouflage if you have it. It’s not absolutely necessary, but it makes the game more fun if you can’t see someone from 100 yards away. They will provide lunch if you so choose for an extra $3 or you can bring your own (please let the trip leaders know in advance what your preference is). Bring money with you if you plan to buy lunch at the field.  Bring plenty of Water or your favorite sports drink to have throughout the day, its gonna be HOT! The price includes all your gear, air for the day, private use of the fields, and Plenty of Paint. We can only use their paint with the group rate. The price includes 500 paintballs each and you may purchase more at the field if you want. Again if you wish to have additional paint you can purchase cases at the field and split the cost with others.  Due to the fact we're getting a group rate you may not bring your own paint.  You may bring your own gear, but its still the same price for the day.

Required Items to Bring:
-Lots of Water and/or sports drinks
-Wear old dark clothes or camouflage (dont play in shorts, long sleeves are optional)
-Clothes to change into for the ride home or a towel to sit on
-Bag to put your dirty clothes in
-Lunch (eat there for $3 or bring your own)
- Dont forget money for your carpool driver

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $25.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

     - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

     - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

     - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

     - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

     - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

Payment may be made via PayPal, PC Banking and check. It is your responsibility to get payment in to meet due date. Allow two days processing for PayPal and PC Banking and one week to mail a check. If you choose to make payment by a check please send the trip leader a confirming e-mail after you mail it.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:   Please review the AOC cancellation policy.
*Note:
  • If you cancel on or before July 8th, then you'll receive a refund of the event cost less $5.00 handling fee
  • If you cancel after July 8th, then NO refund will be given unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot and pays for the event. You will be refunded your paid money less a $5.00 handling fee.
