The Atlanta Outdoor Club will have a booth set up at Riverside Park to help promote the club and it's fun adventures.

This volunteer opportunity will be so exciting with a river race from Garrard Landing Park on Holcomb Bridge Road and the finish line is at Riverside Park in Roswell (where we'll be volunteering, we will not be racing).

The paddlers will race downstream and will run the exciting Class I-II rapids and enjoy the serene beauty of the river while passing along the wooded shoreline at Island Ford. Then it's on to the finish line at Riverside Park. Join us after the race to enjoy the sights and sounds of the festival at Riverside Park. Learn from the many exhibits and displays hosted by a vast array of environmental organizations working to protect and preserve Georgia's natural places.

We need at least (3) volunteers for each time slot below. If you sign-up, you might be needed for a variety of reasons - setup the AOC booth, man the booth to talk about the AOC, teardown, help carry canoes, etc.

Setup: 8:00am to 10:00am

Event Times: 10:00am to 2:00pm

Teardown: 2:00pm to 4:00pm

From GA-400 North, take the Northridge Road exit (#6). Take Northridge Road toward Dunwoody, turn right on Roswell Road, then turn right Riverside Drive. The park is immediatley on the right.
