Ok this is VERY last minute but what the heck!  I need to burn off some holiday pounds.  Do you?  If so, join me for this bit of a wander at Gold Branch. 

I will be hiking a mixture of established trails and perhaps a bit of off-trail wandering as well.  If you are adventurous and willing to explore a bit in the woods then join me for this last minute wander.  Who know were we will go. 

The current weather shows a window of no rain Wednesday morning. Of course that can change but for now it looks like an great excuse for a hike.  

With the potential off trail bits I would not recommend this hike for beginners but if you have some good solid D2 experience you should be fine.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Gold Branch is located on Lower Roswell Road between Johnson Ferry Road and Willeo Road.  If you are coming from Johnson Ferry Road, its about 2 miles from Johnson Ferry on the right.  If coming from Roswell Road (via Willeo Road) its also about 2 miles on the left.  There is a Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area sign on Lower Roswell and the parking lot is at the bottom of the hill.
