Itinerary:

Back to our Monday hikes in the new year. Some parts of the trail sit in flood areas so before we head to the Greenway we’ll see a few sites around the downtown and walk over to the new ampatheater. Then we’ll head to the new section of the Noonday Creek Trail that has been opened.  Eventually this trail will connect with the other section we have been on during our Monday hikes off Bells Ferry Road.

The Downtown Woodstock area that has lots of fascinating shops and places to eat.

The pace will be moderate.  This is a paved path so you may consider wearing comfortable walking shoes versus hiking boots or shoes.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Let me try to give you the best directions I can. This is a new event for me and I had trouble getting an exact address to give you.

So basically we will meet up at the corner of Mill Street and Market Street in Woodstock.  If you come via I575 get off at Towne Lake Pkwy and go right towards Down Town Woodstock.  Mill Street veers to the right, then it veers to the left.    The first cross street you get to is Market and there is free parking there and that's where we are meeting.

If you drive North on Canton Hwy from Hwy 92, turn left on Oak Street (Salt Factory is on the corner), then right onto Market Street and the parking lot is at the end of the street.

Essentially there is a lot of free parking around the Down Town Woodstock area which is all free, and we are meeting a block and 1/2 West of Down Town.  So any where you want to park is totally fine as it's an easy walk to where we are meeting.  No matter where you park in Down Town Woodstock you are just a few minutes walk away.  So call my cell phone 770-312-6479 if you can't find us once you park.

***Plenty of parking is available***
