Itinerary:

Hello everyone! Let's get together for a Mason Mill Mix-Up! We will be meeting at Mason Mill Park in Decatur, GA. We'll meet up in front of the restrooms in the parking lot, then head over to the new PATH trail heading over to the Emory campus. We'll have a leisurely hike through some lovely woody areas, then turn around and head back to our cars to finish up our walk.

This is intended to be a fairly easy walk. I expect there to be some ups and downs, but they should be pretty gentle. We'll be moving at a steady, relaxed paced to make it through the hike in an hour and a half. Overall, this should be a good hike for beginners looking for more of a walk than a workout. If there's any question as to whether or not this hike is appropriate for you, you can always contact Lyndsay for more information.

Please arrive about 10-15 minutes early, or a bit earlier if you wish to take advantage of the restrooms before we get started. At 8:25 AM we will have introductions. We will begin our hike promptly at 8:30 AM and get back to the cars at 10:00 AM.

The weather is predicting temps in the upper 30s and a 60% chance on Sunday as of this posting. As long as we're not expecting steady/heavy rain, we'll continue on regardless of weather. We will be hiking on some dirt paths, including some side trails, so please plan accordingly. Wear shoes with good traction that you don't mind getting a little muddy, and be sure to bring some rain gear.

If you have any questions about the hike, please contact Lyndsay for more information.
