Hip & Historical

Roswell Highlights Urban Hike

Join us on a brisk hike through the historical areas of Roswell & soak up some of the hip, sub...urban vibe that is downtown Roswell. We'll start in the very center of Roswell at the Heart of Roswell Park. Heading north, we'll make our way up Canton street past many homes that have been coverted into shops and restaurants. We''ll visit one of the old cemetaries of Roswell and then turn back south. After backtracking down Canton street, we'll make our way down Mimosa Blvd to Roswell Town Square, Bulloch Hall, and Barrington Hall. Then we'll cross Roswell Road and visit the Roswell Mill and the covered Bridge. We'll finish up the hiking portion of the event by returning to the Heart of Roswell Park.

As an optional post hike event, we'll visit Gate City Brewery for some refreshing adult beverages. This is one of the hip spots that, along with the historical sights, make Roswell so interesting.

Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start the hike on time. There is plenty of free parking on Mimosa Blvd just south and slightly west of the Heart of Roswell Park.
