Falls at Panther Creek Rec Area This is a hike to one of our favorite waterfalls at the Panther Creek Recreation Area near Hollywood, GA (this is not the Panther Creek Falls in the Cohuttas). Normally reached via a very popular, easy 3.5 mile trail from Hollywood, we will come in thru the little-used other end of the trail (2.5 miles each way, moderate-difficult) near Yonah Dam, just outside Toccoa. Warning: the trail is rocky and narrow in places as it meanders up and down along the river.

Lunch will be at the falls where we will spend 90 minutes or so swimming and climbing into the falls. Since the trailhead parking is right alongside the river, we can stop and cool our feet before heading back to Atlanta.
