Itinerary:

This hike will be at a 2.5 - 2.8 moderate pace, slower up hills. We will stay in a group fashion - nobody will be getting ahead of the group! This hike includes several brief stops on the major climbs to collect all hikers. Our event will start at the Pigeon Hill parking lot. ( Burnt Hickory) Head North over Pigeon Hill trekking forward to summit both Mountains. Take a break at the Visitor Center ( bathrooms) and then carry our attention on to the Camp Brumby Trail. ( aka the east trail) Finishing on the Pigeon Hill cutoff and back to the Pigeon Hill parking lot. (Burnt Hickory) Now in order to make this a successful hike, I will need some folks that can make it up these Mountains that can stay with the group!

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park - Burnt Hickory/ Pigeon Hill Parking Lot

1520 Burnt Hickory Road, Marietta, GA 30064

From I-75 North

Take either the North or South Marietta loop off I-75 North and make your way towards Marietta. When you arrive at Whitlock Avenue (GA 120) head west approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Burnt Hickory Road and travel 1.3 miles. The Burnt Hickory/ Pigeon Hill Parking lot is located on the left at the intersection of Burnt Hickory and Old Mountain Road.
