(Norm where have you been????)

Please join me in hiking Jones Bridge, one of the Chattahooche River National Recreation Area parks.   We will start at the parking lot and head towards the trail heading south along the river, then turn away from the river and hike into the forest.  There are some mild climbs but nothing too strenous.   This hike will be at slower pace (not fast) great hike for those new to the AOC or new to hiking.  Not a hard core, fast hike.

Our hike will be approximately 5  miles in length and we will be back to the parking lot by 10:30

Restrooms are available at this location

Please arrive early in order to purchase your parking pass, if needed, and use of restroom.  We will leave the parking lot promptly at 8:30  t

here is a $5.00 parking fee - please see the Kiosk at the end of the parking lot - or if you have an annual pass even better.  Annual passes can be purchased at CRNRA headquarters at Island Ford Park or online.  https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm

Please leave all valuables at home - there have been instances of vandalism to cars!!!
