Itinerary:

Let's show some love for the trails we so love!!!

Volunteers perform trail maintenance on the 90+ miles of trails within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. The Medlock Bridge unit is located along the bank of the Chattahoochee River. CRNRA provides Crew Leader supervision, tools, and work gloves (or bring your own). Volunteers should wear work clothes and comfortable closed toed shoes.

We will be divided into groups & follow the instructions of our Crew Leader(s). We will learn the procedures of how to make our trails better for today & for the future.

Arrive by 8:45 am for check-in and introductions.

The work will consist mostly of out sloping the trail & making drainage structures, trashing the trail creep erosion, and removing trip hazards in places where needed.

Please dress for work wearing closed toed shoes. All tools, material and equipment are provided. CRNRA has used gloves for your use (best to bring your own so they fit) during work. Be prepared to hike to and from the work site.

Bring WATER & SNACKS!!!

VOLUNTEER!! YOUR PARK NEEDS YOU!!

We're looking forward to a safe and productive Trail Work Day.
