Itinerary:

Come join Leader-in-training Allison Carter, and Lyndsay on one of Allison's favorite area paths, Paces Mill/Palisades. This shady, paved trail walks you by the Chattahoochee River and a tributary.

 
We will do a "hike at your own pace" because we return on the same path. I will hike at a leisurely to moderate pace and take the elevation at the end at a slow pace if needed. We'll turn around after 30 minutes, and head back on the same path. This way, those who want to walk at a slower pace are welcome too. 
 
Entrance to this park is on 41/Cobb Parkway near the BP station at Paces MIll Road. There is a $5 parking fee unless you have an annual pass. Be prepared with cash if you need a tag.
 

Up to 3 dogs are permitted, so if you see 3 dogs registered, please do not bring another.Dogs are required to stay on leash in all of the CNRA areas - - with penalties of $75 per animal if you are caught in violation of the law.  Besides. as representatives of the AOC, we want all participants to obey the park rules.

3444 Cobb Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339

From Kennesaw/Marietta/I-285 --  Take I-75 south, take the Cumberland Blvd. Exit.

Turn Right onto Cumberland Blvd
Turn left onto Cobb Pkwy/US 41 going south/downhill
After the BP station, turn right into the park. Stop at the stop sign or you'll get a ticket!
Turn left and go under the overpass. Park near the bathrooms and meet at the trailhead.

From in town -- take I-75 North, Exit Mt. Paran Road exit toward 41/Northside parkway.
Turn left onto Mt. Paran Rd.  
Turn Right onto 41/Northside Parkway.
Go about 1.5 miles and turn Right into the CRNA/Paces Mill entrance.
Park near the bathrooms and meet at trailhead.
