Itinerary:
Join us for a hike at Sandy Creek Park outside Athens. We will circle Lake Chapman for 7.5 miles. The terrain is not very difficult, as there is no significan elevation gain. We can go to lunch after the hike, to enjoy downtown Athens and a Cinco de Mayo drink.

Required Items to Bring:
Water/Liquids Snacks $2.00 per person entry fee at Sandy Creek Park.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Sunscreen insect repellent Rain coat (just in case)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:North on I-85 to exit 106 (Route 316 East toward Athens) and go about 40 miles (Route 316 changes names at some point to Route 29 - same road, just stay on it)

Follow signs for the Oconee Connector to GA-10 Loop North and left on Commerce Road (Route 441) - Right on Bob Holman Road to: 

Sandy Creek Park
