Itinerary:

This event is targeted at both people who have disc golf experience and absolute beginners.  If you do not have discs I have enough to let people borrow for the event. You can learn some basics here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_golf

This is a casual event to just have fun and throw some discs through the woods. We will likely do some sort of team / best shot format to keep things moving and fun for everyone. Please leave your competitive spirit at home. We should have time to get in one full 18 hole round and potentially time for a little more depending on group size and how crowded the course is while we are there.

Wills Park is a nice course to learn on as the holes are not that long and it is hard to lose a disc.  The course is generally flat but you should be prepared to walk through some mud, go in and out of a creek bed as needed to retrieve your throw, cross a few "homemade" bridges, and potentially get discs that you throw into bushes. More info about the course can be seen here: http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4309
