Itinerary:

Trena's away, but we will still play!

Come  explore  the little known but gorgeous Jones Bridge Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA on Monday morning as we cover about 4.5 miles at a comfortable, moderate pace. We will make a couple of stops along the way to rehydrate, and stop as needed for a breather. Rest assured, no one will be left behind.   Beginners are welcome!

Because of a glitch in the registration process, we've run into the problem of having too many members added to the active list above the maximum limit of 20.  Please be aware that we will be moving members above 20 registrants to the waiting list in the order of their registration times.  People will then be added to the active list as we have withdrawals.

We will walk along the river towards the pond as well as explore the woods and meadows throughout.  We’ll loop around the back end of the park to make our way back to the parking lot. The trails are relatively flat but do expect several hills for about 150 feet of elevation.

We will meet in the parking lot at the very end of the long entrance road.  Restrooms are available.

We will start promptly at 10:00 am.   Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for introductions, pay the $5 parking fee if you don't have an annual pass, and use the restroom.

Up to 3 dogs are welcome, but in accordance with park rules, they must be kept on a leash.  Dog owners should walk ahead or at the back of the group to avoid tripping other members.

***Don’t leave any valuables visible in your vehicles.

These trails can get very muddy, so this event will be cancelled for rain.
