Itinerary:
Updated 8/16 -- Thanks for checking out this event but we are full and have 28 on the waiting list.  No need to include yourself at this time on the waiting list.  Thanks!

Many parks are closed after dusk but one I know well is open 24/7. The September full moon is known as the harvest moon.  Probably because ghosts, gnomes, witches and scary creatures are out in full force, looking to harvest AOC members!  As your trip leader, I'm keeping this hiking location a secret and nobody will find you (unless of course, you sign the waiver)!  Anyone want to be sweeper?

j/k

I'll provide directions and meeting location info. upon sign-up, but in all honesty, I'd like to introduce you to a trail you probably aren't aware of and a night hike will make you want to return in the day time for further exploration. The trail can be found 20 miles from 285/75 in Marietta, and no, it is not Red Top Mtn nor Kennesaw Mtn.

We'll hike about six miles of moderate terrain, stopping to take a few breaks here and there.  We'll conclude the hike with slighly more than two hours on the trail, which is roughly three miles per hour of hiking.
