Itinerary:

Please join us for a summer paddle at Azalea Park.  We will be paddling upstream for approximately 45 minutes-1hour and then we will turn around and take approximately 30 minutes to come back downstream before dark.

Pace is moderate. If you would like to come and paddle at a leisurely pace, that's ok too. The group may get ahead and pick you up on the way back downstream to the park.

We'll meet at the boat ramp/beach area. Arrive early enough to set up your boat and be on the river at 6:30pm.

BYOB: Bring your own boat.
No blow-up boats.

PFD's are required to wear on my paddles.

Azalea Park is across the street from the Atlanta Rowing Club parking lot.

Note:  Shoot the Hooch is 203 Azalea Drive, so if you get there, look for the big parking lot with the boat ramp, just east of it, on the same side of the street.


Notes:

Parking is free.

If the lot is full, you can park on the street (no tires on the road) or in the next lot over after unloading boat at the boat ramp.

Restrooms available.
