We will start from the Top of Amicalola Falls parking lot. We’ll follow the Hike Inn Trail to Len Foote Hike Inn. We will take our lunch break at Hike Inn. After break we'll retrace the same route to get back to our cars.

There may be, no guarantee though, some left over foods and drinks like cookies, cakes, fruits, coffee, lemonade, etc. in Hike Inn dining room, please leave some tips in their box if you do eat or drink them.

The event duration does NOT include our travelling/ driving time. If you choose to meet at the event, please arrive before our starting time. Our duration time is an estimate, and we need to have some flexibility.

Please only register if you have recent D4 experience.

If your recent experience is not from the club, please include it in a note when you register, or email TL; otherwise you will be moved to the waiting list for the safety of everyone. We encourage our members to actively participate with joyful experience, and most importantly to stay healthy and safe at the end of our event.

Required Items to Bring:


Clean shoes, bag for changed shoes, towel to sit on (if you're in other member’s car). Respect your carpool driver, only enter with clean shoes. Remove all trash and your belongings.

Cash for carpool driver.

$5 Cash for park entrance fee if you're driver and don't have annual pass.

Layers of clothing suitable for the season.

Good trail running/ hiking shoes.

Water, lunch/snacks.

There are multiple ways to get there. Follow whichever is easiest for you if meeting at the event. We will park at Amicalola Falls parking lot on the top of the falls. There are restrooms at the visitor center and at the Amicalola Falls parking lot.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $32.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
