Last minute Sunday afternoon hike
!!

It's going to be a beautiful Sunday, so come out and join us for a nice hike at Pine Mountin in Cartersville. We'll be hiking  the West and East Loops with a hike up to the Overlook for a short break to take in the view and grab a snack/water if needed. So basically a figure 8 if you are looking at the map

The hike will begin at the West loop trailhead. We'll hike counterclock wise to reach the summit of Pine Mountain (1,562 ft.), which is the highest point in Cartersville.  After our short break, we'll hike the East loop counterclockwise until we come back to the connector trail to hike the rest of the West Loop before getting back to our cars.

Total mileage is approximately 4.5 miles. Plan for a minimum of 2.5 mph.
