Itinerary:
Join us for a fun hike at Panther creek falls.  We did this last week to scout the area out (and not be lost :)  Panther creek is one of my favorites in Ga.  We'll hike close to the river the whole time (3.5 miles) There are a few steep inclines and rocky cliffs but for the most part it's a flat trail.  Even on a hot day the water will keep us cool. Round trip the distance is about seven miles.

We will hike at a moderate pace.  It's a very pretty trail and the river will keep us cool in the summer heat.  When we get to the falls we'll spend about an hour eating lunch and swimming.  There are some great vistas to explore and we will go past three waterfalls.  There are some really exciting cliff walks along the way.   There are hemlocks and pines along the trail as well as some really cool cliff outcroppings. This is one of my favorite hikes and I hope I can share it with others.

Afterwards we can go to rim of Tallulah Gorge for a great view and a cold soda.  Its just down the road and has a great view.  If you've never seen the Gorge you're missing out.
