Itinerary:

Please join us for a moderately paced hike that begins from the beautiful Amicalola State Park. We will begin from the parking lot at the top of the falls, taking the AT approach trail before looping over to the Len Foote Hike Inn for lunch. We will complete the loop by returning on the Hike Inn trail.

Free lemonade, coffee, and other beverages (and often times snacks) are usually available at the Len Foote Inn. A small container is maintained for donations. However, you may want to bring something more substantial for lunch or snacking. While this is not a fitness hike and we will not be in a hurry, you still need D4 and/or D5 experience. The trip leaders may contact any registrant who does not have such history in the club.

Plenty of fluid for adequate hydration

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $41.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:

$5.00 State Park Fee per car unless you have an annual park pass.
