Lost Corners is a nice place to get a quick hike in without being too far from the parking lot should rain move in.  The weather forecast is not looking favorable.  However, I'm going to try and get a hike in before the rain moves in.  There is a terrific tree canopy that blocks a lot of rain.  I've hiked here in a drizzle and loved it so I thought this may be a good alternative to not venturing outside Sunday to hike.

 

If it is a mist or light rain, I will continue to hike, but if it is a downpour, we'll head to the porch (see link) and chill for a bit before venturing back out to finish the hike or call it a day and head home.


Required Items to Bring:

The normal hiking gear plus rain jacket or umbrella.

Meet on porch of the big house and not in the parking lot.  Enjoy the swing prior to the hike as a calf warm-up!
