Itinerary:

We will meet in front of the Park Headquarters / Visitor Contact Station at 10:00am.  There are restrooms available.  We will begin our hike shortly thereafter, making our way on the various trails along the Chattahoochee.

This is a pretty easy hike.  Beginners are welcome!  There will be a few hills, but nothing strenuous.  I plan to keep the pace slow to moderate to accommodate everyone.

According to the current (as of Fri night) forecast, we should have highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s.  It should be a beautiful day!  We'll stop to admire the views along the way and will have time to photograph and appreciate the Chattahoochee as well as the wildlife.  There are usually geese, ducks, and maybe a hawk and/or heron to see.

We will also venture into the woods a bit taking in the scenery as we make our way through the area.  We should return to the Visitor Contact Station around 12noon.  There are picnic tables nearby for anyone wishing to extend their stay and enjoy the scenery for longer.
