From the Engineering Office parking lot we will descend to the banks of the picturesque Hog Wallow Creek. After a few minutes walk we will reach Oxbo Dr. and Big Creek. After crossing the creek on a bridge we will enter the park proper. After walking about 2.5 miles East and then South we will get to  Big Creek, which we will follow upstream.  Along the way we will cross the creek on a  covered bridge, visit the ruins of an old cotton mill and have a close look at the nearby dam. We will also visit Founder’s Cemetery, where several of the early settlers of Roswell are buried.
