Itinerary:

The Pinhoti Trail is a Southern Appalachian Mountain's long-distance trail, 335 miles in length, located within the states of Alabama and Georgia. This hike will be on Wilderness trails which only allows a maximum of 10 hikers. In some areas no blaze, lots of standing dead with some blowdown and outcropping! This will be a clockwise Loop which will include... Cave Creek Trail, Nubbin Creek, Odom Scout and finishing the loop North on the Pinhoti Trail. The hike will have some climbs but mostly just mileage. Off trail we will have several overviews... Mcdill Point, Hernandez peak. We also will observe the airplane wreckage dated back from the seventies. This will take a hiker with some high D-4s and a couple of recent D-5s. It's gonna be the mileage and outcropping - be sure to have good trail legs and a sense of adventure!
