a trail run with very lil fast hiking, it's a leg & lung shredding event! It's 5k the HARD WAY!

It's about time we get back to our regularly sheduled programing :: don'tcha think!??!
Join me as we light up the trails with a trail run mixed with some seriously fast hiking. The VCTR will get that heart rate & step count up right out of the "gates"...This week day D3 trail run (which is more running than fast hiking) will see some nice elevation, as I take you along what I affectionately dub my "training grounds!" We might hit a coulple of the same paths twice but never in the same direction. This is NOT a "check out the scenery" event. Conditions have been a little sloppy out there, expect some loose terrain - trekking poles are always advised.

This FAST trail run (with a lil les hiking) is along various trails at Vickery Creek CRNRA (in a top secret special direction) there  are no formal stops planned. The average overall pace will be in the sub 13 minute/mile pace (or quicker). So, if you haven't been on any FAST AOC D4 hikes recently you're probably not going to like this hike - saying it's fast is an undestatement. If I see you falling back pretty far within the first mile (or two) I will ask you to try again after a few months...Safety first, respect to the others second.

Rain or Shine...althought I prefer the latter.
