Join me for a hike at Island Ford. We will park at the first parking lot (enter through park entrance gate and make immediate left into parking lot). We will NOT be hiking the Lollipop Loop. Will start hike by heading towards trail along banks of Chattahooche, head towards visitor center, quick loop around pond and then back to our cars. Great hike for beginners, very little elevation.  I haven't been on a hiking trail since January (the FLU got me) so I'm just coming back - don't think I'll be up to a super fast hike but i do want to get out on the trails.  Not a super fast hike, not a stroll, somewhere in between but those that have hiked with me will find that I'll be a bit slower than usual.
