We're back! Finally! Can't wait to see everyone again!
Let's burn some calories at Vickery Creek, and then get a burger & fries (or a salad) at Moxie Burger - Moxie is optional! Beautiful trails, some roots to navigate.
We'll warm up for the first half mile and then keep a fast pace stopping only occasionally. MANDATORY: Please bring plenty of water! I recommend using a camelback type water bladder if you have one so you have constant access to your water. No water, no hike. Just sayin.
There are restrooms at this location and parking is FREE!
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and use the bathroom if needed. If you're running late or can't make it at the last minute, please call or text me at 770-695-3969.
This is not a beginner hike, it is a fitness hike. We hike at a fast pace with only a few short breaks for water. You should have previous D2 Fast hike or D3 hike experience to do this hike. If I feel you don't have the requirements to do this hike, I may remove you from the roster for your own safety and in fairness to the rest of the group.
NOTE: If you are new to the AOC, please include a message with your registration telling me about your hiking experience/level of fitness. If I don't hear from you, I will move you to the wait list until I hear from you.
Please understand all trip leaders are volunteers and most of us have full time jobs. We may not have time to call new members to discuss their fitness for a particular hike. It really helps us to run a successful hike if new members let us know what fitness activities they do so we can determine if the hike is a good fit for them.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOCK ALL VALUABLES IN YOUR TRUNK and OUT OF SIGHT!
See you on the trail!

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free. It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.
