Itinerary:

It's another self-supported, out & back, winter BP'ing event this time it's:
Starting at the Springer Mtn Trailhead for the AT we'll head up the trail to the BMT turnoff and carry on to the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge - we'll make camp at the site there - hopefully not sharing with a bunch of ORV'ers...but if it gets crazy we can back track to Bryson Gap to get a good, cold night sleep. Regardless it's over 15 miles a day, out & back...We'll experience the AT, BMT & DRT on this event - a lil taste of Myra's upcoming GA LOOP event, we'll be on the green section highlighted below:

This is a D6 level backpacking trip, please register only if you're comfortable with an extremely difficult winter backpacking event and have recent AOC backpacking experience. If your experience is not from the club, please include it in a note when you register. The Trip Leader reserves the right to remove registrants without a sufficient track record with the club for the safety of everyone. I encourage members to actively participate in challenging experiences, but most importantly - to stay healthy and safe so you can build from here.
