LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED DUE TO FLOODING AT OLDE ROPE MILL PARK.

Come out and join us for Rivers Alive!  

This is a volunteer event hosted by Rivers Alive, Cherokee County Water and Sewerage Authority, City of Woodstock and the Upper Etowah River Alliance.
 
The cleanup starts at 9 am, but I would like for our group to meet at 8:45 am at JJ Biello Park in Woodstock, GA

Refreshments will be provided, along with gloves and trash bags.

FREE T-shirts will be giving to us for our volunteer efforts, but are first come first serve basis.

Volunteering for environmental cleanups and trail maintenance activities is truly rewarding and fun at the same time, so I hope you can come out and join us.



Required Items to Bring:
  • Snacks
  • Water or sports drink

  • Small day pack or hip pack
  • Hat
  • Rain jacket/poncho
  • If you have your own work gloves, feel free to being them.

    • How to Get There:
    Event Directions:I-75 N TO I-575 NORTH
    Take exit 8 Towne Lake Pkwy toward Woodstock

    Two ways to continue: Either go through downtown Woodstock or follow alternate instructions.

    Thru Downtown Woodstock:
    Turn right at Towne Lake Pkwy
    Slight right to Elm/Reece street
    Turn left at Main St Turn right at Brooke Blvd J.J. Biello Park will be on your left. (If you pass Bell industrial Park on the right, you have gone too far)

    Alternate:
    Turn right at Towne Lake Pkwy
    Take left at next light (Woodstock Pkwy)
    Follow until it ends into Hwy 5)
    Take a right on Old Rope Mill Road
    Go the redlight (cross tracks) and take a left on Main Street/Highway 5 Go about 3/4 mile and on the right you will see JJ Biello Park
