Itinerary:

We will hike a lollipop shaped trail which lies mostly on that part of Cochran Mill Park that is West of Cochran Mill Parkway. The trail follows a course downstream, meandering at some distance from Bear Creek, until it reaches Henry Mills Falls at mile 5. After having lunch at the falls we will return to our cars, walking upstream along the creek for about 2.2 miles until we reach the section of trail where we came in. The trail is well marked, there are around 350 ft of elevation change, and little mud.

Proceed south on I 85 until Exit 69 (South Fulton Parkway), which is a couple of miles south of the airport exit. Proceed on South Fulton Pkwy approximately 14.7  miles to Cochran Mill Rd. Turn right on Cochran Mill Rd. and proceed about a quarter of a mile. The parking lot will be on your left.
