Itinerary:

<<< Chimney Tops from Chimney Tops Trail Trailhead >>>

This is one of the most popular hikes in the GSMNP. It’s among the top choices of visitors looking for a wide open panoramic views from the summit. It also leaves plenty of our time for the day to explore anything else in the park.

We will meet and start from the Chimney Tops Trail Trailhead. It is a continuous climbing of 2.2 miles from the parking lot to the top of the summit. The total elevation gain is about 1,600 feet. The views on the top makes it well worth our effort getting there.

The event duration does NOT include our travelling/ driving time. Our duration time is an estimate, and we need to have some flexibility.
